The Mission of the Manitoba Chartered Accountants Foundation is to enhance the quality of accounting education in Manitoba
Our Vision
CA education in Manitoba will be seen to be the best in Canada, attracting a growing number of quality future Chartered Accountants
In 2009, the Foundation Board approved a new strategic plan. The new plan reflects modernized thinking with a significant shift toward focusing on students in secondary schools and universities as well as immigrants and potential career changers.
The Foundation will continue its ongoing endeavours of providing awards, scholarships, and bursaries to CA students, as well as its support of accounting education at Manitoba’s universities.
In addition to this, the new plan focuses on creating scholarships and bursaries for aboriginal students as well as students from non-traditional academic routes. The high school scholarship program will be expanded along with several other endeavours.
The Foundation will be implementing a number of new plans to ensure continued academic excellence in Manitoba.
