Not everyone's up to the CA challenge. Then again, you're not everyone. The training and education is rigorous and intense, but after earning your CA, you'll have the confidence to enter the business world knowing you can contribute to, affect, and lead organizations.
Earn a university degree.
Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Business Administration, a Bachelor of something. No, it doesn't have to be a business degree. However, there are 12 pre-requisite business courses that all candidates must complete to qualify for the program. A minimum 65% grade point average in those courses is required.
Secure employment.
And not just any employment. You'll need to secure work after graduation with an Approved Training Office. ATOs are accounting firms in public practice. Many accounting firms recruit on campus from September to December. Once you're hired, you'll become a CA Student receiving regular pay for your on-the-job experience. That's right, earn while you learn.

Enroll with CASB.
The CA School of Business, a nationally accredited program, is the only way to earn you CA in Western Canada. A flexible schedule of module offerings and the University of Saskatchewan Master of Professional Accounting Program provide many study options.
Log into business.
Using a module format, you'll follow the business life cycle from start-up to IPO giving you experience with issues at all stages of business evolution. The modules build excellence in organizational effectiveness, control and risk management, finance, taxation, IT, and assurance. The majority of the program is done online, and you'll work with others at interactive workshops.
Work. Study. Work. Study. Work.
Three years of hard work and an advanced education - talk to any CA and they'll say it's grueling, challenging, and all-consuming. They'll also say that it was well worth it. The learning, experience, and network of peers you acquire will catapult your career.
Prove yourself.
Demonstrate you skills and knowledge on the job and when you complete the Uniform Evaluation (UFE). It's not easy, but when you get a CA you know you've earned it, and so does the rest of the world.
Reap the rewards.
Watch your career expand and your income rise. How far can you go? How much can a CA earn? You decide. There are no limits.
