The Guide to Canadian Independence Standard has been updated for wording modifications that have been made to the Independence Rule since it was introduced in 2003, and provides additional guidance in a number of areas that are subject to frequent calls to practice advisors.
The Institute was incorporated in 1886 under the name of "The Chartered Accountants' Association of Manitoba" by Act of the Legislature of Manitoba. By Chapter 1, S.M. 1913 the Association was continued and its name changed to its present name "The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Manitoba".
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Manitoba as now existing is continued as a body corporate subject to the provisions of The Chartered Accountants Act, Chapter C70, Revised Statutes of Manitoba 1987. |
